"Sew Sisters" earned close to $200.00 in their Christmas Bazaar selling Christmas ornaments, tea towels, Christmas stockings, hot pads, and other items handcrafted by club members.  Most items were embroidered or monogrammed using sewing machines purchased with a Dothan Education Foundation grant.  As a community service project, the "Sew Sisters" donated $150.00 to Ms. Hearns' and Mrs. Womack's classes to go towards a sensory room.

Dr. Maxwell's class received a grant from Southern Nuclear Company to purchase kitchen items (microwave, refrigerator, convection oven, and kitchen utensils) to work on daily living skills. The items were purchased and students can not wait to begin learning to cook. We are very appreciative for SNC's support.
